Every couple of years we have a large family vacation and we usually spend a week together in Sanibel, FL. Sanibel is such a mellow setting with lots of beach time and a chance to recharge your batteries.
Sanibel is known for it’s shelling and my wife and daughters had very good look finding all kinds of exotic shells washing up on the beach, both night and day.
One evening we made the short drive out to Captiva to watch the sunset out there and boy were we not disappointed.
We were told by a local to be sure to hit the Bimini Bait Shack before we left the Fort Myers/Sanibel area and gosh was she right. This bar/restaurant had an incredible atmosphere. There was a live musician up on stage, an salt water aquarium bar and all kinds of other things going on. We stopped in for lunch and it was still very cool to visit and the food was good as well.
Your pictures are always good as are your travel stories. Gotta say, these pictures are your best yet
